About Horsesmouth Horsesmouth.co.uk is a social enterprise, launched in 2008,
which harnesses the power of social web technology and the growth of user-generated
content for a social purpose. Its vision is to connect people across society,
regardless of age, geography, race or gender, based on what they can give
to and gain from each other.
This user driven platform empowers people seeking advice to choose and contact the mentor that is right for them, and people offering advice to volunteer flexibly in a way that is personally meaningful for them.
DementiaWeb Kent and Medway would like
to invite you to join this online network for people affected by dementia.
We are teaming up with Horsesmouth, a mentoring website, and the National
‘Living Well with Dementia’ strategy, to put people affected
by dementia in touch with one another. Your experiences and thoughts are
valuable to others affected by dementia so please visit the website and
sign up as a mentor.
There are also many 'Living Well with Dementia' mentors
already on the site, offering support and advice on a huge range of subjects,
from diagnosis to daily challenges or caring for a loved one.
